Assignments created using the Basic building block will become read only at the end of August. Students will be unable to submit to them, and instructors won’t be able to give any feedback and grades.

Turnitin assignments should be created using the new LTI tool, available via the Build Content menu:
As there are differences between the old (Basic) and new (LTI) integrations, we recommend reading our instructions on how to create/manage/mark assignments, as well as include the student instructions in any of your Blackboard courses using Turnitin assignments.
